Chargers place their punter on the I/R and promote a Center
The San Diego Chargers have had a major problem withbibjuries this year, especially at the center position. Well after the team signed punter Mat McBriar they were able to place their punter Mike Scifres on the I/R to ensure they had a back-up center on their roster.
In a corresponding move the team signed Jeff Baca to the active roster.
