Referees in Bills/Miami game were horrible; Bills players were pissed

The Buffalo Bills were screwed last night. The Bills were nailed with three stupid calls which killed them and really switched the momentum of the game.

Buffalo quarterback Kyle Orton received a flag for intentional grounding while in the end zone, which turned into a safety. The problem was it should not have been intentional grounding because wide receiver Sammy Watkins was in the vicinity of where the ball landed. It did not get any better when Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore was penalized for one of the worst pass interference calls you will ever see.

“Everybody [was] telling me it was a bull—- call,” Gilmore said, according to CBS Sports. “So it is what it is. They made it. Gotta live with it.”

As if it was not enough, Jerry Hughes was been grabbed badly on a play the Bills sacked the quarterback and the refs did not call it. When he stood up he barely bumped into the ref and received another penalty.

“I did yell because I did get held on that play. I made sure I yelled, ‘Holding.’ Whatever else came after that, I really don’t know,” said Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes in reference to a non-holding call that turned into an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against him, according to ESPN. “I don’t know. … I’ve never really seen a holding call missed at the point of attack like that. So I really don’t know. I’m at a loss for words right now.”

The refs sucked last night and Walt Coleman should be investigated by the NFL, but at the end of the day, you still have to perform. Bills didn’t, especially on offense.
