According to FanSided, former Buffalo Bills quarterback and Coastal Carolina University alumni Tyler Thigpen was arrested for DUI after passing out in the Wendy’s drive thru. Police noticed his car had not moved for 20 minutes and approached the vehicle to see Thigpen passed out.

Thigpen told police he was confused, didn’t know where he was or how he had gotten there, according to the report.

He told police he had been at Broadway at the Beach with friends, according to the report. One of the Horry County officers said Thigpen smelled strongly of alcohol.

When asked, Thigpen told police that he had not consumed any alcohol, according to the report. The highway patrol officer instructed Thigpen to take three field sobriety tests and Thigpen refused. At this point the officer arrested Thigpen and took him to Myrtle Beach jail.

Thigpen was in line at the Wendy’s drive-thru. Polices officers nearby noticed that the car hadn’t moved in 20 minutes and decided to check on it.
