What is your name?

Addison Richards

Where do you play college football?

University of Regina

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

2 University teams and 3 Junior teams

How did you choose your school?

I wanted to stay at home

Where are you from?

Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada

Who is your role model, and why?

My role models have always been my coaches, because they exemplify hard work and dedication.

Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?

The scouts are saying that I would be a high pick in the 2015 CFL draft.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball, track and field.

Did you play any other positions in football?

I have always played wide receiver.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I am able use my size and speed to my advantage, and I am able to find holes in defensive coverages.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Small tendencies in the defensive backs that give away their schemes, or weaknesses in their coverages that our offense can exploit.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Jake Harty (Calgary) and Nic Demski (Manitoba) are some great receivers in our league that always cause headaches for us.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I would compare myself to a guy like Mike Evans, just a tall athletic guy that uses his big frame to make plays.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

I have been extremely fortunate to not have anything happen in my life that I did not think I could beat.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Some kind of dessert the night before the game is a must.

What is your biggest strength?

I am extremely hard working and am always thinking of ways to work on my craft.

What is your biggest weakness?

I always want to work on my understanding of the game when it comes to the X’s and O’s. At the highest level everyone can physically play the game, but what separates players from one another is their understanding of the game.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I will do whatever is asked of me to help the team achieve it’s goals.

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

LaDainian Tomlinson and the Pittsburgh Steelers

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Larry Mueller, Michael Irvin, Jim Carrey
