Cardinals activate Kerwynn Williams from P/S; Team released DT Gaston
Today the Arizona Cardinals signed running back Kerwynn Williams off their practice squad. In a corresponding move the team released Bruce Gaston.
A 2013 seventh-round pick by the Colts, Williams played in one game as a rookie. He will serve as the No. 3 back behind Andre Ellington and rookie Marion Grice. During the 2013 preseason, Williams rushed for 169 yards in 41 attempts, and also had 3 receptions for 6 yards. He survived the final cuts, making the 53 man roster
