Browns place Phil Taylor on I/R; Will require surgery
According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, defensive tackle Phil Taylor is going on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury unrelated to his previous knee surgery.
Taylor will have another surgery next week to fix the new problem.
He only played in five games this season, but the team did pick uo his rookie option. So he will be back next year.
