Ravens wide outs will face a banged up Buccaneers secondary

steve smithToday the Baltimore Ravens wide receivers will face a very banged up Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary.  The Bucs will be without two of their starters. Safety Dashon Goldson and cornerback Johnthan Banks are out with injuries. Major Wright will start in Goldson’s place. Crezdon Butler will start in place of Banks.

The Tampa Bay Times expects Steve Smith Sr. to be shadowed by Alterraun Verner Sunday. This could mean that Torrey Smith is in for a big day, but I would not believe the Tampa 2 defense will allow Smith to get deep on the Bucs.  I would expect Steve Smith to be targeted quite a bit this week, and the Ravens to utilize their tight ends a lot this week.  I think this is a great match-up for the Ravens offense.

We will see what Buccaneers team shows up, but if they can get it done with half of their secondary missing, I would be amazed.
