The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Kevin Dorsey to the active roster from the practice squad, signed CB Tay Glover-Wright to the practice squad and released TE Ryan Taylor. The transactions were announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Dorsey, a 6-foot-1, 207-pound second-year player out of the University of Maryland, was originally selected by Green Bay with the second of three seventh-round picks in the 2013 NFL Draft (No. 224 overall). He spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve due to a toe injury sustained during the preseason. Dorsey has spent the first five weeks of this season on Green Bay’s practice squad. He will wear No. 13 for the Packers.
