Today’s Get to know series will focus on Byron Jones the ball hawking defensive back from UCONN, and we feel at NFL Draft Diamonds, you will want to know all about him.

Grade You Started Football: 3rd grade

High School: Saint Paul Catholic HS

Position/Positions: I played quarter back up until my junior year. I was moved to wr and safety.

College: Uconn

Position/Positions: I played both safety and corner throughout my college career

Jersey Number: 16

Football Mentor/Inspiration: My older brothers

Proudest Football Moment/Memory: Going to the playoffs in high school which was something the team had not done in decades.

Funniest Football Memory: When I was about 8 I picked up a fumble and, not know what to do with it, I promptly gave it to the referee.

Favorite Food: Pineapple

Football Philosophy: Play every play likes it’s the last play you’ll ever play

Game Superstitions: none

What are your Goals/Aspirations for the 2014-2015: Give my last year off college football everything I got.

Career Goals: Be the best in whatever I do.

Who Will Win The Super Bowl: Unfortunately it looks like the cowboys are on a fast track to the Superbowl.
