That is the approach the Atlanta Falcons have had to take this year regarding their center position. Yesterday, starting center Peter Konz went out with an injury and according to Adam Caplan it is not looking good at all.

Initial word on Pete Konz is that the injury is “bad” according to a source. @caplannfl reported MRI coming. Konz not making London trip.
With Konz not going to London, the Falcons are expected to start undrafted rookie James Stone who is a very solid player. The Falcons will likely activated Harland Gunn as well, who has experience snapping the ball. Either way it is not good for Matt Ryan.
