Dolphins place Knowshon Moreno on Injured Reserve
The Dolphins announced this morning that Moreno was being placed on season-ending injured reserve with a torn ACL. This is a sad injury, because Moreno just returned for one week from missing multiple games with a different injury. Moreno was only signed to a one year deal in Miami and is likely all he will see at running back.
Moreno has been a disappointment for the Dolphins, who were expecting him to do something special. The one thing he did do is push Lamar Miller to be a better back. It seems like Lamar Miller stepped up a little more than he has in the past, I guess that is a good thing that occurred from the signing.
Expect the Dolphins to be looking for that solid running back next year in the draft. The team only paid Moreno a couple million, so he will likely be done.
