The Buffalo Bills could have a new owner by as early as Friday according to multiple sources. The team is being purchased by Kim and Terry Pegula (Western New York natives). The Bills fan base has been waiting patiently for a new owner and by Friday of next week they could have a new owner.
According to Pro Football Talk, the Bills sale should fly through this week at the owners meetings.
Per a league source, approval of the purchase of the franchise is on the agenda for this week’s ownership meetings in New York. The source says the transaction is expected to “sail through.”
That’s not a surprise. The purchase of the Bills by Terry and Kim Pegula from the estate of team founder Ralph Wilson already survived a rigorous bidding process. Likewise, the league’s finance committee have given the sale the thumb’s up.
As a Bills fan all I can do is smile. Thank you Pegulas
