When I opened up the ESPN stat sheet today, I was expecting Jamaal Charles, LeSean McCoy, or even Adrian Peterson at the top of the NFL’s rushing list. Instead, I saw a very shocking name.

This is the guy that was benched in Miami after signing a free agent contract? The same guy that missed time with an offseason injury? The former Super Bowl contending running back from the Broncos? YES…..
Knowshon Moreno is the leading rusher in the NFL after week one. While I think that could change week 2, when Moreno faces the mean Buffalo Bills defense this week, it is still great to see.
Here are the top 5 rushers in the NFL.

- Demarco Murray – 118 yards
- Marshawn Lynch – 110 yards
- Le’Veon Bell – 109 yards
