Vikings fans GREAT NEWS; Adrian Peterson feels the team can win the Super Bowl
Could you imagine the Minnesota Vikings going to the Super Bowl with either Matt Cassel, Christian Ponder or Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback? That would be a long shot right? Well, Adrian Peterson believes it can happen.
“I think we have what it takes to go all the way,” Peterson said in conference call Wednesday with St. Louis reporters. “It’s going to be all about developing each week, continuing to improve; but we have talent.”
Peterson will get to display his talents this week after sitting all preseason. I know that Norv Turner’s offense is going to be special, but AP says he is ready.
“I’ve been doing a lot of conditioning and stuff, too,” he said. “The guys always are kind of picking at me about that, but, yeah, it’s a lot different than being out there running away from guys. … I’m extremely excited. … We are expecting great things, and it all starts this week.”
