Three teams I could see pulling the trigger for Adrian Peterson

IMG_3437.PNGSince Adrian Peterson is the talk of the NFL right now, even after the messed up week 1 the NFL put together; I thought it would be right to find a home for Adrian Peterson if he was in fact traded.

So what I did was I came up with three NFL teams I could see pulling off a trade for Adrian Peterson, and not thinking twice about the move.

New England Patriots – Let’s face it, the Patriots do not look like the same ole Pats. They need someone to take the pressure off of Tom Brady and Steven Ridley is not the answer.  The Patriots are never afraid to trade away a draft pick to land a solid player. I would hate to have Adrian Peterson in a Patriots uniform being a Bills fan, but I could see them making a trade.  Patriots will not overpay for any player, but I would not be shocked if the Patriots at least call to inquire.

Tennessee Titans – While the Titans drafted Bishop Sankey and have Shonn Greene, why wouldn’t you take a player like Adrian Peterson.  Peterson is a very solid move for the Titans, who might need to rely on a rookie quarterback next year.  Remember the team failed to give Jake Locker a contract extension.  So they could be focusing on a rookie in next year’s class or playing Zach Mettenberger their draft pick from this year.  If that is the case, you better have a run game.

Dallas Cowboys – While many are going to look at me crazy, your owner is crazy.  Listen right now the Dallas Cowboys do not need a running back, shoot their running back is the best in the league after two weeks, but Jerry Jones thinks money. He loves Adrian Peterson, and might be willing to give up on DeMarco Murray just to get Peterson. I do not agree with the move, but I could see the Cowboys making the move.
