Today the Detroit Lions received some bad news. The team found out today that they will lose CB Bill Bentley for the season.

Dave Birkett feels the team could be forced to add Champ Bailey now. Champ Bailey could be signed at any time. The team brought him in last week, but failed to sign him to ensure his contract was not fully guaranteed.
