Giants sign veteran guard Adam Snyder
The Giants announced Wednesday that Geoff Schwartz has been placed on injured reserve with a designation to return. To replace him on the 53-man roster, the team signed veteran guard Adam Snyder, who played for the 49ers last season and was once a teammate of Schwartz’s at Oregon.
Schwartz won’t need surgery on his dislocated big toe, but was still facing enough time rehabbing that the Giants pulled the trigger on the roster move.
