Bills sign Special Team Ace Larry Dean; Place S Meeks on I/R

The Buffalo Bills signed LB Larry Dean according to the team’s website.

Dean entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2011 with the Minnesota Vikings. The 6-0, 227-pound Valdosta State product appeared in 48 games during his three seasons in Minnesota, playing primarily on special teams.

In 2013, Dean ranked second on the team with 18 special teams tackles. Dean is 26 and a native Tifton, GA.

Dean is a special teams ace and in a corresponding move the team place Johnathan Meeks on the injured reserve.
