AFC Players of the Week have been announced

juliusToday the NFL announced their players of the week in the AFC, and there were no real surprises.

The Special Teams player of the week for the AFC was Dan Carpenter to nailed a game winning field goal to put the Bills past the Chicago Bears in overtime.

The Defensive Player of the week was Cam Wake of the Miami Dolphins who was a freak off the edge, giving Tom Brady fits all day. The Dolphins pulled off a huge upset win over the powerhouse Patriots.

The Offensive player of the week was Julius Thomas the tight end of the Broncos that seemed to be Peyton’s favorite target.  The guy was unstoppable in week 1, and I would expect him to get a huge pay raise soon.

NFL Draft Diamonds was created to assist the underdogs playing the sport. We call them diamonds in the rough.
