5 fantasy players in Seahawks/Packers game you want to start

Tomorrow the NFL regular season kicks off and it will be a rematch of “The Call”. If you do not remember correctly it was the call in the back of the endzone that the replacement referees messed up so badly.

Well I expect the Packers to score points tomorrow and it should be a good game. Here are five players you want to start tomorrow if you play fantasy football.

Marshawn Lynch – If you own Marshawn Lynch and you are not playing him tomorrow you are crazy. The Packers lost B.J. Raji their big defensive tackle and didn’t do anything to support the middle of the field. I expect Lynch to have a 100 yards on the ground tomorrow and a touchdown.

Aaron Rodgers – People are going to think this is a bad move, but Rodgers does not make many bad decisions. He has the weapons to really take advantage of the Seahawks defense, but that will depend on his protection up front. If worse comes to worse, he will get quite a bit of yards, especially if they are playing from behind.

Randall Cobb – Cobb is a very solid slot cornerback and the Seahawks will be using Jeremy Lane over Tharold Simon who needed knee surgery and will not play. I do not feel Byron Maxwell can shut down Cobb, so expect him to eat tomorrow.

Clay Matthews (IDP) – if you have to play an IDP player you have to start Clay Matthews. The Seahawks offensive line is suspect. Matthews will bounce back this year and I can see him racking up a couple sacks.

Mason Crosby – Ok, I was a kicker and I am not going to lie, Crosby has been shaky, but if you own him start him tomorrow. You will thank me. We know the Packers will move the ball some and will rely on Crosby if they are stopped in the Red Zone.

I honestly feel the Packers can beat the Super Bowl Champions, but they will need to attack, and manage the clock.
