Leonard, 22, was one of a host of undrafted free agents the Vikings invited to training camp, but he had missed about a week of practice from a head injury that coach Mike Zimmer wouldn’t call a concussion. He was undergoing tests as recent as Tuesday before being released.
I would be surprised to see him sit on the waiver wire long, unless he is really badly injured.
