Titans QB should be Zach Mettenberger not Jake Locker

While the Tennessee Titans lost this week they found out their back-up QB looked like he belonged in the NFL.

Zach Mettenberger was 15-of-17 passing for 214 yards (14 yards a completion) with a 64-yard touchdown as his Tennessee Titans lost to the New Orleans Saints 31-24.

He was 6-of-7 for 136 yards and the touchdown to Justin Hunter in the second quarter alone. Mettenberger finished a stunningly consistent 20-of-25 for 270 yards and two touchdowns.

He looked very good and makes you wonder if he will end up starting by mid season if the Titans cannot get it going. He might be the next quarterback teams look back at and regret not drafting.
