Ravens begin making cuts; LBer first to get axed
Today the Baltimore Ravens began making roster cuts. The first cut of the day is Austin Spitler the linebacker.

The Ravens have also released offensive tackle David Mims. The Ravens have released rookie linebacker Nick DiMarco. The Ravens have released rookie punter Richie Leone.

Ravens also released Omar Brown and LaQuan Williams.
The Ravens also waived-injured rookie offensive tackle Brett Van Sloten (sprained medial collateral ligament) and fullback Shaun Chapas (Georgia).
