Patriots Brady cracks a joke on his centers
Today, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was asked about his center competition and he had a pretty interesting thing to say about his centers Dan Connolly and Ryan Wendell. Brady didn’t reveal who has the edge to snap balls to him come September, but the QB did give everyone a quote to remember.
“I’ve got confidence in those guys,” Brady said, via The Boston Herald. “I love both Dan and Wendy. I love those guys. They work so hard. The center-quarterback relationship is a pretty special one. I’ve got my hands on their butts probably more than their wives, so it’s a pretty unique trust and relationship you have.”
