Jets have signed journeyman cornerback LeQuan Lewis

lequanThe New York Jets are very thin at cornerback and today they signed a journeyman at the position. LeQuan Lewis who has only been in the NFL for a couple years, blew the team away with his 4.36 speed today.

Jets have signed cornerback LeQuan Lewis to two-year contract. He ran a 4.36 at his tryout

Lewis (5-foot-11, 193 pounds) has bounced around the NFL and CFL since signing with the Titans out of Arizona State as an undrafted free agent in 2011. Aside from the Titans, he’s had stints with the Raiders, Cowboys, Bucs, Bears, Patriots, and Cardinals. He was even with the Jets for two weeks back in August 2012, was later re-signed for one day, and then spent about a week on the practice squad before being released again.
