Former Packers draft pick indicted in a huge drug bust
The Green Bay Packers drafted De’Mond Parker in 1999. Parker was a 5th round pick and is now one of 51 defendants named in the largest indictment in Tulsa history unsealed Tuesday afternoon.
The indictment of 238 cases accuses people of organized crime in Tulsa. A number of crimes mentioned include murder, intimidation and drug offenses.
Parker is mentioned 47 times in the 217-page indictment. He was mentioned in relation to crack cocaine and marijuana.
This is sad for the former Oklahoma Sooners running back that ranks sixth all time in history.
