Browns sign QB Rex Grossman; Release QB Tyler Thigpen
The Cleveland Browns signed Rex Grossman the former Florida Gators quarterback. The team released third stringer Tyler Thigpen today.

#Browns have signed veteran QB Rex Grossman. They waived QB Tyler Thigpen.
Grossman will be fighting for a roster spot. Thigpen did not get the job done in his first preseason game against Detroit. The 30-year-old completed 3-of-12 passes for 38 yards and an interception in Saturday night’s preseason opener versus Detroit.
