Brock Coyle looks like lock to make the Seahawks roster

brockBrock Coyle is a small school standout from Montana and he is truly impressing his coaching staff.  A matter of fact Ken Norton Jr., who knows something about linebackers is in love with Coyle.

“He’s passing each test,’’ linebackers coach Ken Norton Jr. said recently of Coyle, who played at Montana and signed with Seattle last May. He appears on the verge of being the team’s latest undrafted free-agent success story.

The most recent exam came Thursday in Denver, when the 6-foot-1, 243-pound Coyle started at middle linebacker against the Broncos. Coyle was playing for the injured Bobby Wagner, out another week or two with a hamstring issue, but Coyle hardly looked out of place.

We did this amazing feature on Brock before the draft.  You can walk in Brock’s shoes on how his Draft Journey went down. We are rooting for Brock because we know this small schooler packs a huge punch.

NFL Draft Diamonds was created to assist the underdogs playing the sport. We call them diamonds in the rough. My name is Damond Talbot, I have worked extremely hard to help hundreds of small school players over the past several years, and will continue my mission. We have several contributors on this site, and if they contribute their name and contact will be in the piece above. You can email me at [email protected]
