Houston Texans owner Bob McNair has been given a clean bill of health after a 10-month battle with two forms of cancer, the Houston Chronicle reports.

McNair underwent 30 sessions of radiation treatment and surgery on the left side of his head and neck. McNair, 77, has battled skin cancer for 20 years and was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, which is a form of blood cancer.
“I’ve never been through anything like that, but two days ago, I was given a clean bill of health, so it was worth the pain and suffering,” McNair told the paper Wednesday. “I didn’t think I was going to die. I knew some did. I knew there were some rumors. That’s one of the reasons I’m talking about it.
