San Francisco is getting close to inking Joe Staley to a new deal
Joe Staley was not happy with his current deal in San Francisco, and it seems now that the team is making progress on a new deal. The Niners are getting very close to a deal according to Bill Williamson of ESPN. He is claiming the new deal will last until 2017. That is a great new deal for their best offensive lineman.

The 49ers need to land a few more deals because the team has quite a few players that are free agents in 2015. If they want to win it all they are going to need to work out a few more deals to get everything taken care of.
