Former GM says the Browns don’t have a franchise quarterback
Sharing his practice notes with NFL Network’s Around The League, Charlie Casserly — the former Redskins general manager — believes that Cleveland’s “quarterback of the future is tied to its two No. 1 draft choices for next year,” writing: “I don’t think Brian Hoyer or Johnny Manziel will be the answer.”
This is not good for new head coach Mike Pettine, if it comes to fruition.
