Football is no different than the World; Forgive the bad and criticize the Good

The world is changing everyday, and let me say something it is not for the better.

Our Country was founded on GOD and based on religion. Over the past several hundred years everything is changing. The bad is considered Good and Good is considered BAD.

Before talking about God was considered fellowship. It was amazing because you gave thanks to the person that died for your sins. Now if you talk about God, you are evil.

A great example of how people view Good vs. Evil has happened in the NFL. Tim Tebow was a legend at the University of Florida. He was loved for his purity, his love for God and his ability to win football games. One thing you could never take away from Tim Tebow was his love for God and his Faith. He left the University of Florida as a Heisman Trophy winner and the winner of not one but 2 National Championships.

He was drafted in the first round when Denver Broncos selected him. After an injury to their quarterback Tebow led the team to the playoffs and while they lost Tebow did his best to lead his team. He only lasted a few years in the NFL because of the positive media hype he received. Tebow took over the NFL because of his beliefs. Many people could relate to him, but just like the Bible people are offended by the word. Tebow currently works for the SEC Network and would love to have another chance to play in the NFL, but that probably will never happen again.

On the other hand you have a guy like Johnny Manziel. The cocky, arrogant, confident gun slinger from Texas A&M. While Manziel had quite a bit of success in the NCAA, winning the Heisman Trophy, he continues to stay in the media. He is not in the media for good things, he is always in the media doing dumb things that are painful to the people around him, such as his family and his new employer. This year the Cleveland Browns drafted Johnny in the first round, but has been in trouble with the media as the “Bad Boy” over the past several weeks. He has already stated he will not stop partying. He will not slow down.

Manziel does not have to slow down, do you know why? The reason why is people forgive him, they make excuses for him daily to get out of trouble. They just brush off the sins and problems he has. Why? Because this is what our Country has turned into.

We are are like a science project. The devil knows that if he puts a Frog in hot water from the start the frog will jump out. So instead he puts the frog in warm water and continues to turn up the heat until the frog cooks.

It is simple people, bad is no longer bad to the world. Bad is cool, the world is turning into a modern Sodom and Gomorrah. If you do not know what happened to that City you might want to open The Bible, because it didn’t end well.
