Chiefs tight end Sean McGrath has retired from football
Sean McGrath led Chiefs tight ends in receptions last season, but he is hanging up his cleats.
McGrath has decided to retire from the NFL after two seasons. McGrath, who had 26 catches last season.
“McGrath is gonna retire, that’s what we’ve been told by him,” Reid said, via the Kansas City Star. “I wish him the best. He’s a good kid. It’s a personal decision he made.”
This is not good news for the Chiefs, but Travis Kelce will be forced to step up in 2014.
