Three of the best quarterbacks to play the game had 100+ players drafted ahead of them

The big thing in the NFL today is the Franchise Quarterback. Teams are willing to trade their entire draft away, to get their guy, while some hit the jackpot later in the draft.

When you look at some of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, did you know that their were three very solid Hall of Famers (One in the Making) that were drafted after pick 100 in the NFL Draft?

101 players were drafted before Johnny Unitas, 198 players were drafted before Tom Brady, and 199 players were drafted before Bart Starr.

All three went on to be a stand outs. Last year, both Nick Foles and Russell Wilson had great seasons. Foles was drafted 88th overall while Wilson went 75th overall. It just goes to show you, how badly Brady, Unitas and Starr were overlooked.
