New York Jets signed a kicker and punter
The Jets signed kicker Andrew Furney and punter Jacob Schum, while also releasing tight end Terrence Miller, Dom Cosentino of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Furney, a rookie out of Washington State, and Schum, who has already been cut by the Browns and Bucs, were among the six players the Jets invited here for a tryout during this week’s minicamp, which concluded Thursday.
