How long will it be before a player makes 25 million a year?
The NFL is growing each and every year and so are players contracts. NFL teams are getting smarter and smarter when structuring contracts. Teams are dishing out contracts worth 125 to 150 million dollars.
In the MLB, players are already landing 200 million dollar deals but will this happen in the NFL soon?
@AdamSchefter: Word around NFL is that when Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson get new deals next year, they will come in between $24-$25 million per year.
There are certainly players that stick out from their competition, but are they worth 25 million plus a year? With the continued growth of salary cap, you can expect players to keep getting paid more and more.
