Expect a huge 2014 season for Robert Griffin III

Robert Griffin III is coming off a season which had him fighting injuries, and really testing his patience with his injured knee.

During the season RG3 would miss time and really struggled at getting a win. RG3 went 3-10 as a starter but still managed to throw for 3200 yards hitting 16 touchdowns to 12 interceptions.

The team focused on the running game and the zone blocking scheme of Mike Shanahan. Well after a horrible season Mike Shanahan was let go. The team hired Jay Gruden, the brother of Jon Gruden. Gruden was a legend in Arena Football as a quarterback and understand what needs to be done for RG3 to succeed.

Gruden went out and landed Desean Jackson a very solid, speed receiver who will be an amazing compliment to Pierre Garcon. I expect RG3 to have a coming out party in 2014.

Did you know Andy Dalton has been dominate thanks to Jay Gruden. In his first season with Gruden, Dalton tossed 20 TD’s. In his second season Dalton threw 27 touchdowns in the regular season. Last year under Gruden, Dalton tossed 33 touchdowns. Do you notice a trend here folks? Every year his touchdowns increased, but that was not the only thing. Dalton threw more interceptions as well in each of the years.

The big difference is RG3 has way better accuracy than Dalton, and when you factor in Pierre Garcon and Desean Jackson who both finished the season in the top 25 in receiving, RG3 should be a fantasy stud.
