How many games do the Cowboys have to lose before they send Jason Garrett packing?

The Dallas Cowboys, have suddenly went from America’s team to an average team in the NFL.  For a team that once dominated the NFL, and the NFC East, the Cowboys have since been more worried about making money then winning football games.

The Dallas Cowboys have been giving lucrative contracts to players that do not deserve them.  Brandon Carr, and Tony Romo were given a ton of money and they have not done too much.  While I like Tony Romo and feel he is a good player, the team cannot keep waiting for him to produce and pay him the kind of money they are for his success.

Since Jason Garrett has taken over for the Dallas Cowboys he cannot get the team over the hump.  What ever happened to the Dallas Cowboys wanting to win?

The Dallas Cowboys have kept Jason Garrett longer than many other coaches in the past that had better success.  Chan Gailey led the team to the playoffs twice in a row and was relieved of duties.  The team also fired Parcells after 4 years when he took the team to two playoff births. Shoot, Wade Phillips took the team to two playoff births and was fired after his third year. Jason Garrett however, has a career losing record at Dallas going 30-34, but some how still has a job?

Let’s take this even farther, since Tony Romo has been the starter the team has went 72-56 and went to the playoffs 3 times.  He is a decent starter in the NFL, but he has not been able to get the team over the hump.  I am not saying Romo  is not the answer, but one thing is for sure Jason Garrett is not the guy that is motivating this team to get over the hump.

Lately it seems that Jerry Jones is trying to keep the fans motivated by putting on quite a show at “Jerry’s World” but is not concerned about winning. Back in the Super Bowl era for the Cowboys the man was making power moves to make the team better, but for the past 5 years this team is in rebuild mode.  You cannot keep going 8-8, and have a happy fan base.  If Jerry Jones wants to make money, he better start putting a better product on the field.

If the Cowboys come out and lay an egg, I expect the coaching staff to be fired.  Shoot when you look at the schedule the Dallas Cowboys could come out and have a new coaching staff by the bye week in week 11.

The 49ers are going to blow them out, the Titans will probably fall victim to the Cowboys.  Then the team will face the Rams, the Saints, the Texans, the Seahawks, the division rival Giants, and Redskins, before finishing out weeks 9 and 10 with the Cardinals and the Jaguars.  I don’t expect the Cowboys better than 3-7.  I can see the Cowboys firing Jason Garret by week 11.  What do you think?
