These five teams should contact Houston about Andre Johnson

Andre Johnson has every right in my mind to get upset about another rebuild.  The former University of Miami standout has been willing to do anything for the Houston Texans since being drafted by them over 10 years ago.  Johnson is the teams all time leading everything at the wide receiver position and has been a class act for the community.  Well it is time for the big guy to move on, and here are five locations I could see Andre Johnson making a major impact.

Seattle Seahawks – Could you imagine giving Russell Wilson both Andre Johnson and Percy Harvin?  The team won the Super Bowl last year with Doug Baldwin and other UDFA wide outs.  Andre Johnson would be their number one wide receiver and the Seahawks are a team that would not be afraid to give up a pick, knowing that it would be a later pick in the draft.  This pick makes almost too much sense.

Detroit Lions – The NFC North already has Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery who are extremely difficult to guard, now imagine if the Lions were able to add Andre Johnson with Megatron?  I don’t know about you, but Matthew Stafford could have quite the dominance if he had both Johnson’s in D-Town.

Minnesota Vikings – The team is lacking a number one receiver, and I highly doubt Johnson would consider the Vikings any different than the Vikings (rebuilding), but he could be intrigued to play with Adrian Peterson.  Adrian Peterson can make almost any player happy to be in Minnesota.  The guy is a complete back and a true work horse.  Just with him on the field people have to be afraid of what he is capable which would open up the passing lanes.

Carolina Panthers – Last year the Carolina Panthers made it pretty far in the playoffs, but the team lost almost every major playmaker on their team.  Shoot they lost three wide outs, including Steve Smith, four of their five starting lineman and still have a ton of money tied up at the running back position.  I feel the Panthers would be a good fit, because Johnson would be a true number one, but who wants to play for a team where you are the only weapon?

New York Jets – The New York Jets have added Chris Johnson, and Eric Decker.  CJ2K has been working already on twitter and social media trying to get Andre Johnson in New York.  While it would help the growth a lot of Geno Smith, I am not sure the Jets would make this power move.  It would make them better from day one, but are they willing to give up something for an aging wide out?
