Detroit Lions bring in defensive tackle Derek Landri for a work out
The Detroit Lions hosted defensive tackle Derek Landri for a workout today according Detroit Free Press. Landri said it went well, but he was not signed.
“It was good to get out here and run around, do all that stuff,” said Landri, who was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in February. “Haven’t done it in awhile.”
Landri, 30, played nine games, mostly as a backup, with the Buccaneers last year, after starting part of the 2012 season with the Philadelphia Eagles. In Philadelphia, he played for Lions defensive line coach Jim Washburn.
