2014 NFL Draft Breakdown: By Position
The NFL Draft is over, and now it is important to look at the number of players selected from each position to see if there was a jump in one position over the past year.
Here is a breakdown of each position drafted, Which position had the most drafted?
QB – 14
RB – 20
FB – 2
WR – 33
TE – 10
OT – 24
OG – 12
OC – 9
DE – 22
DT – 19
OLB – 24
iLB – 10
CB – 35
FS – 10
SS – 8
K – 2
P – 1
Compared to the 2013 NFL Draft there were more QB’s, WR’s, OT’s, OC’s, and CB’s selected. The number decreased by 8 at the defensive end position.
Remember this number will always change from year to year, but it shows this draft was deep at the CB, WR, QB, LB, and OT’s position.
