Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III unveiled a new logo, which has “RG3” in it, on Twitter and Instagram on Sunday.
“This wouldn’t be possible without the love and support of my family, friends and fans growing up,” Griffin said. “This is for us and represents all of the work the people around me put in to help me succeed in life.”
Griffin is the fourth ADIDAS endorser to have his own logo. Soccer star Lionel Messi, Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose and Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard are the others.
“Robert Griffin III is one of few athletes who transcends style on and off the field,” said Jeremy Darlow, adidas senior brand and digital marketing manager. “His first signature cleat recently launched at retail, and adidas plans to continue to bring his style and personality to life in footwear, apparel and accessories.”
I personally am not sure RG3 should have a logo, but who I am to judge. What do you think? Let us know on twitter @DraftDiamonds.
