Raiders are hosting UCF quarterback Blake Bortles today
The Raiders’ interest in quarterback prospects for this year’s NFL draft continues, as evidenced by their meeting with Central Florida’s Blake Bortles on Monday.The Raiders have the No. 5 pick, which means Bortles might be gone before the Raiders first selection rolls around, but he is known as the best quarterback in the draft.
The Raiders could be considered set at quarterback but they are obviously looking at quarterbacks. They have met with Johnny Manziel, Derek Carr, Teddy Bridgewater, Jimmy Garoppolo, Tom Savage and Zach Mettenberger.
The Raiders either attended the pro days or had at least 8 quarterbacks in the 2014 NFL Draft. Manziel and Savage met with Raiders top brass in Alameda last week, and today the Raiders met with Bortles today.
