Arizona Cardinals have Memphis safety Lonnie Ballentine for a pre-draft visit
Today the Arizona Cardinals are hosting a big bodied safety in Memphis Lonnie Ballentine. The Cardinals are saying they are content with the two strong safeties on their roster, but Lonnie Ballentine could be a guy that comes in and starts from day one.
Lonnie Ballentine has a large frame at 6’3, 219 lbs. and comes with a lot of starting experience from his four years at Memphis. He started all 12 games last year and appeared in 42 total games in his career. Last year, he had 58 total tackles and finished with 141.5 in his career, a total that includes 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack. He also had 13 career pass deflections and three interceptions.
