Blake Bortles was invited to the NFL Draft in New York City
Former UCF quarterback Blake Bortles received an invitation to attend the NFL Draft in New York City in May, according to the Orlando Sentinal.
The 6-feet-5, 232-pound Bortles parachuted onto the top of draft boards during his redshirt junior season as he led UCF to a 12-1 record and Fiesta Bowl win over heavily-favored Baylor. Bortles threw for 3,581 yards and 25 touchdowns with nine interceptions in 2013.
Bortles could be the first name called in the 2014 NFL Draft.
