Indianapolis Colts make multiple moves to bolster their roster

Today the Indianapolis Colts made a couple moves that could bolster their roster.  The first is signing David Sims formerly of the Browns and Eagles.  Sims is a very solid player that really shined this year in pre-season.  I don’t know what  happened but he just didn’t stick in the league.  This kid has all the talent in the world to come in and start for the Colts.

The 5-foot-10, 210-pounder played in 15 games with one start with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012 and had eight tackles, one for a loss and one pass deflection.

Sims was a two-year letterman at Iowa State and had188 tackles and six interceptions.. As a junior in 2009, he was named Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year.

The Colts also released their former draft pick. A 2012 seventh-round pick out of Georgia, Anderson failed to earn any playing time in two seasons with the Colts. He has a shot to be claimed on waivers.
