The Packers have some cap room this year and their are reports from Ian Rapoport and others that the Packers will try to make a splash this free agency. Well here are five players that could really boost this team.
Jason Worlids – OLB – Pittsburgh Steelers – This guy is buried behind some studs in Pittsburgh and the guy wants to start. He could come in and start from day one over Mike Neal.
Eugene Monroe – OT – Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens traded for Monroe last year and the guy did not get to play one snap. The Ravens have tons of players to re-sign and no money. Monroe would be a huge splash guy and an immediate upgrade at tackle.
Antoine Bethea – S – Indianpolis Colts – the Packers need help in the secondary and Bethea is a proven safety that can get the job done. This would be a huge steal for the Packers.
Ed Dickson – TE – Baltimore Ravens – While I like Quarless, Dickson is a true recieving threat at tight end. He will be available because Ravens new OC has already said they are going to use Pitta a lot.
Golden Tate – WR – Seattle Seahawks – Tate is a very solid wide out. The team is likely to lose James Jones. Tate is a younger amd similar more versatile Jones.
