Josh McDaniels could be back in the mix for Cleveland; Unknown coach competing with Pettine
Adam Schefter said we needed to expect a curveball and it looks like the Browns are full of them.
Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com reports that the Browns and Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels have had “more conversations” this week, and that McDaniels is “possibly back in the mix” for the job.
Nothing stops the Browns from continuing to pursue McDaniels. With the Patriots’ season over, the Browns can offer him the job, if they want. Schefter did say that the Browns had two interviews scheduled tomorrow between Pettine and an unexpected coach. Well that person could be Josh McDaniels.
