The agent for fullback John Kuhn hasn’t had any contract talks with the Green Bay Packers but is optimistic about his client re-signing with the team.
Kuhn, 31, will be an unrestricted free agent when the new league year starts March 11. His agent, Kevin Gold, hasn’t started negotiations with the Packers but expects to speak with team vice president Russ Ball at the scouting combine in late February in Indianapolis.
“I assume there’s interest on both sides, and (us) having him come back and hopefully they want him back,” Gold said Wednesday. “It’s a good fit and he likes it (in Green Bay), he lives there. That’s definitely his priority, and I assume it’s their’s, too.”
