Brendan Walker is a strong full back that hits like a truck. He is a true full back who reminds me a lot like Corey McIntyre. He can play both offense and Special Teams.  He was a force at the National Bowl in Miami.  Walker could be a sleeper to sneak onto a roster.  SENIOR HIGHLIGHT

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

My grades weren’t good enough to get in any school but I talked to Northwestern the most

Where did you choose and why?

I chose Santa Monica (CA) junior college so I can get the proper recruiting.

What were your goals for your senior year?

My main goal was to win a conference championship then make a run for the national championship. Then everything else will fall into place.

Have any scouts met with you, and if so what are they saying?

I played in the national bowl at FIU december 7th and their were a lot of scouts there. They like my size at fullback and think I have a chance

At your position, what separates you from the others?

I bring  my lunch pale everyday. I have the mentality that I can destroy any linebacker that comes through the hole. But most importantly my work ethic sleep is for billionaires.

Tell us what you look for when breaking down film?

I look for defensive tendencies, blitz packages, how good the defenders run to the ball, and toughness throughout 4 quarters.

Who was the toughest player you have ever faced?

I say its a toss up between 6″9 tackle Matt Hall from Belhaven or RB  Terrance Cobb from Cumberlands

If you could compare your play to one person in the NFL who would it be?

Vontae Leach or John Kuhn

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Having to sit out 2 years from messing my grades up. Made me realize how much I love the game. Also how much I had to get my life together

What system fits your style of play the best?

Pro style physical football

What is your biggest strength?

My strength and how I move for my size,

What is your biggest weakness?

I think my biggest weakness is the little things I have to correct like my technique coming out my stance staying low

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would say you are goin to get a player who is hungry for success. Always finding ways to get better. A person who wont let anybody outwork me. A great team player.

Growing up, who was your role model?

My mother

Who was your favorite team and player in the NFL and why?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Ray Lewis. I love the passion Ray Lewis has for the game it gets my hyped to play every time.

What was the most tragic event that ever happened in your life and how did you overcome it?

Training all summer long doing 2 a days thinking im getting ready for a season. To find out im ineligible. It changed me a lot not being able to do something you love.

If you were to have dinner with three people dead or alive who would it be?

RayLewis, Jay Z, Malcolm X
